One person behind vgthmind: every piece is designed and sewn from A to Z, as a one-of-a-kind piece or in a small run. Alongside, custom pieces painted by hand or with an airbrush, and collaborations with artists for the stage, music videos and YouTube. HOW A PIECE IS MADE
1. Design. From sketch to technical drawing: silhouette, volumes, details.
2. Pattern & draping. Volumes worked on the dress form, pattern corrected until the piece falls right.
3. Fabric. End-of-roll fabrics, reclaimed garments and scraps, in limited quantity.
4. Construction. Cutting, machine and hand sewing, finishing: about seven hours for a simple pair of jeans, several weeks for the most technical pieces.
5. Paint. Some pieces are painted by hand directly onto the fabric, with no printing.
THE JOURNEY
vgthmind was born in 2021 in Vitry-sur-Seine. First collection awarded at the Dinan Festival in 2022, the VGTHM collection in 2023, then the VGTAPE mixtape in 2025: one music video and one outfit for each track.

Une seule personne derrière vgthmind : chaque pièce est conçue et cousue de A à Z, en pièce unique ou en petite série. À côté, des customs peints à la main ou à l’aérographe, et des collaborations avec des artistes pour la scène, les clips et YouTube. COMMENT NAÎT UNE PIÈCE
1. Le dessin. Du croquis au dessin technique : silhouette, volumes, détails.
2. Le patron et le moulage. Volumes travaillés sur mannequin, patron corrigé jusqu’à ce que la pièce tombe juste.
3. La matière. Fins de rouleaux, vêtements et chutes récupérés, en quantité limitée.
4. La fabrication. Découpe, couture machine et main, finitions : environ sept heures pour un jean simple, plusieurs semaines pour les pièces les plus techniques.
5. La peinture. Certaines pièces sont peintes à la main directement sur le tissu, sans aucune impression.
LE PARCOURS
vgthmind naît en 2021 à Vitry-sur-Seine. Première collection primée au Festival de Dinan en 2022, collection VGTHM en 2023, puis la mixtape VGTAPE en 2025 : un clip et une tenue pour chaque morceau.
